Oregon Shakespeare Festival

The Tony Award-winning festival features 11 plays on three unique stages from mid-February through October. A typical season consists of three plays on the outdoor Elizabethan Stage, three in the New Theatre, and five in the Angus Bowmer Theatre. While the festival has produced non- Shakespearean works since 1960, each season continues to include three to five Shakespeare plays. The festival presents 750-800 performances of eleven plays in the three theatres from February through October each year. Plays are presented in a rotating repertory, allowing patrons to see many plays in one visit. You will also enjoy backstage tours, live music and other activities.
