A small historic home within two blocks of The Inn was purchased and restored as a Honeymoon Cottage. Three additional cottages, replicated in style and design, were built next door. They are popular for their privacy and luxury. Guests can enjoy a “home away from home” atmosphere while being pampered with the many luxuries of these distinctive bed and breakfast suites.

The Robertson Robbie Collins Cottage

About Robertson “Robbie” Collins:  He was instrumental in preserving Jacksonville’s rich history.  He pursuaded local business and community leaders to support Jacksonville’s designation as a National Historical Landmark and encouraged its development into a premier tourist destination and a historical treasure.

The Frank Carter Cottage

Cottagcottage-room-10e 10 is named after Frank Carter.

About Frank Carter:  He served as Chief of Law Enforcement in Jacksonville from 1953-1980.  He is remembered for the cordial way he helped tourists and Britt Festival guests. The town was generally quiet and peaceful, but he is also remembered for running a 40-member motorcycle gang out of town single-handedly.

The Nathaniel C. Dean Cottage

Cottage 1cottage-room-111 at the Jacksonville in is named after Nathaniel C. Dean.

About Nathaniel C. Dean:  His interest in mining led him to Jacksonville in 1851. He met and married Anna Huston and was reported to be the first county commissioner in Jackson County. The Dean and Huston mine was the first in the area to use hydraulic mining.

The Presidential Cottage

Cottage 12 is nacottage-room-12med the Presidential Cottage.

Overlooking a magnificently coffuired garden with waterfall and a trellised patio, this luxurious suite provides a very relaxing environment for the wonderful outdoor evenings in southern Oregon. The dining and kitchen area set the stage for romantic dinners, private dinner parties and receptions.

Several local and national dignitaries have stayed in this cottage, the most luxurious of all the Inn’s cottages. Among them were former U.S. President George W. and First Lady Laura Bush.

This suite has all the amenities of the other three cottages but is more spacious.
