The Honeymoon Cottages
A small historic home within two blocks of The Inn was purchased and restored as a Honeymoon Cottage. Three additional cottages, replicated in style and design, were built next door. They are popular for their privacy and luxury.
All have a whirlpool tub, steam shower, entertainment center with full stereo system, fireplace, wet bar, king-sized canopy bed, sitting room and private patio. Guests can enjoy a "home away from home" atmosphere while being pampered with the many luxuries of these distinctive suites.
All accommodations include breakfast at The Inn. They are non- smoking rooms. One of the cottages is wheelchair accessible.
The most luxurious of all cottages, now known as the "Presidential Suite" where President George W and Laura Bush stayed while visiting Jacksonville, includes a dining area and kitchen for intimate, romantic dinners, private dinner parties, and receptions. It has a computer with internet access. The cottage overlooks a magnificent garden with waterfall and trellised patio, perfect for outdoor relaxing, entertaining, summer weddings, and private gatherings. The Jacksonville Inn's Catering Chef takes pride in serving all such occasions.
