Room 6 The Madame Jeanne de Reboam-Holt Room
About Madame de Reboam-Holt: Madame operated a boarding house. After the U. S. Hotel burned, she bought the lot and struck a deal with builder George Holt. If he would build her a hotel, she would share his bed and provide his board for the rest of his life. He finished the hotel in 1881, and her most famous guest was President Rutherford B. Hayes.
